Originally from Israel, Itamar Jobani is a promising young sculptor that has just completed a residency at the Museum of Arts and Design in NYC. Exploring the relationship between man and earth, his pieces consist of wood or cardboard layers that are compiled to form human figures. The work created during his time at the Museum, located at 2 Columbus Circle, will be on display on the 6th floor for the next four months.

Select pieces from his work will also be on display during our now we are six exhibition. Opening reception is tomorrow night, February 17th, from 6-8, and will be up until March 20th.
